Acceptable Use and Engagement Policy
KDCI provides AI workforce, managed staffing, creative, and customer experience services to businesses globally. All engagements are subject to the following acceptable use policy.
KDCI will not accept, facilitate, or continue any engagement whose primary or material purpose includes any of the following:
- Disinformation and synthetic deception. Building, operating, or maintaining AI systems whose primary purpose is to generate or distribute false or misleading information at scale, or to produce synthetic media designed to impersonate real individuals without their consent.
- Surveillance without consent. Developing or deploying systems that monitor, track, or profile individuals without their knowledge or lawful basis, including facial recognition for covert identification and unauthorised data aggregation.
- Autonomous weapons and harm-enabling systems. Building AI systems intended to identify, target, or engage individuals or groups without meaningful human oversight, or systems designed to facilitate physical harm to people.
- Manipulation and psychological exploitation. Developing AI systems whose design intent is to exploit psychological vulnerabilities, undermine informed consent, or manipulate user behavior in ways the user has not agreed to and would not agree to if made aware.
- Discriminatory automated decision-making. Building or maintaining AI systems that make or materially influence consequential decisions — in employment, credit, housing, healthcare, or legal proceedings — in ways that discriminate unlawfully on the basis of protected characteristics, or that remove meaningful human review from such decisions.
- Circumvention of legal or regulatory obligations. Using KDCI-placed professionals to help structure, design, or operate systems whose purpose is to evade applicable law, regulatory oversight, or contractual obligations — including data protection regulation, financial regulation, and content moderation requirements.
KDCI reserves the right to terminate any engagement where it determines, at its reasonable discretion, that the work falls within one or more of the above categories — regardless of the stage of delivery or the client's stated justification.
Clients and prospective clients who are uncertain whether a proposed engagement falls within this policy are encouraged to raise it before engagement begins. Contact info@kdci.co.
