Growth

A career path that survives the next five years

AI is changing what a support agent, a designer and a data analyst do every day. We would rather train you into that shift than replace you through it. Every KDCI role now has an AI component and a funded way to learn it.

  • Published bands, visible next stepEvery role sits on a band with defined criteria. You can see what the next level requires before you commit to it.
  • AI upskilling on company timeStructured tracks in prompting, retrieval, automation and evaluation, matched to the work your team actually does.
  • Move between practicesCX specialists have moved into data annotation and AI operations. Designers have moved into product. Internal applications are prioritized over external ones.
  • Leads are grown, not importedMost KDCI team leads were individual contributors here first. Management training runs twice a year.

Hiring process

How hiring works here

Four steps, roughly two to three weeks. You hear from a person at every stage, including if the answer is no.

  1. STEP 01

    Apply

Send your CV and a short note about the work you want to do next. Every application is read by a person on the KDCI talent team.

    1–2 days to first reply

  2. STEP 02

    Screening call

A 30-minute conversation about your experience, your English comfort in client calls, and the shift you can realistically work.

    Week 1

  3. STEP 03

    Skills assessment

A practical exercise close to the real job — a code task, a design brief, or a recorded customer scenario. Paid if it takes more than two hours.

    Week 1–2

  4. STEP 04

    Client fit and offer

A final interview with your future team lead, sometimes with the client. Offer, salary band and start date in writing within five working days.

    Week 2–3

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY GET

No perks page theatre.

These are the things people ask about in the screening call — answered plainly.

Health Coverage

Medical and dental plan from day one — no waiting period, no probationary exclusion. Government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, and HDMF) are handled in full from your first paycheck.

Leave You Can Use

Paid sick leave, paid emergency leave, and vacation leave that converts to cash if unused. Maternity and paternity leave follow statutory requirements, processed without bureaucracy.

Pay That Reflects the Work

Night differential and holiday pay are statutory and paid correctly. Overtime is compensated. Performance-based bonuses are tied to your annual review, not to discretion.

Training on Company Time

AI tooling, domain certifications, and technical upskilling are funded by KDCI and done during work hours — not on your own time and not at your own cost.

Reviews Tied to a Number

Annual performance evaluations run on a fixed calendar. Each review connects to a published salary band so you know what the next step pays before you take it.

A Real Team Around You

A monthly food gathering for the whole team, a referral incentive program that pays when someone you bring in stays, and a KDCI manager in the Philippines — not a stranger on another continent.

FAQ

Questions candidates ask

If something here is unclear, ask the recruiter on your screening call. They are allowed to give you a straight answer.

No, but you need a foundation we can build on. Strong Python, SQL or front-end engineering plus real curiosity about model behavior is enough for most AI Engineering roles. KDCI funds the AI-specific training after you join.

Shifts follow the client you support. Many roles run on US business hours, some on UK or Australian hours, and corporate roles run Philippine daytime. The shift is stated in the job posting before you apply, and night and holiday differentials are paid as required by law.

Most roles are hybrid. You will spend part of the week at a KDCI site and part at home, with equipment provided. A few roles are fully remote within the Philippines, and a few client engagements require on-site presence for security reasons.

Usually two to three weeks from application to written offer. That covers a screening call, a practical assessment, and a final interview with your future team lead. We reply to every applicant, including the ones we do not move forward.

Email careers@kdci.co with your CV and the kind of work you want. KDCI opens roles continuously across AI engineering, design, customer experience and corporate functions, and speculative applications are kept on file for six months.
